CS-3 is either more complicated or more expensive to copy, because it's VCA based. It's also hard to get anything to sound and respond exactly like it without also being VCA-based. I'd say easier options for compressor builds would be an Orange Squeezer, which would be way more subtle than you probably want, or a step up in difficulty is.

The capacitors you want to replace for this mod are the c4, c6, c14, and c17. Thankfully most Boss pedals have each component clearly marked out with this numbering system.
