Pond lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) is a beautiful aquatic plant that is often grown in ponds or water gardens. The plant is native to Asia and has large, showy flowers that bloom in the summer. The flowers are white, pink, or red and have a yellow center. Pond lotus can be grown in aqua soil, but it requires some special care.
